hola, friends.
Que tal? I am Rebekah Rivera, an art director and graphic designer based in Brooklyn, New York. Specializing in branding, media production, and visual storytelling, I help clients turn their vision into reality. As an art director, I've led creative teams from concept to launch on omnichannel campaigns and have had the pleasure of collaborating with world-renowned directors, illustrators, and production studios. My keen eye for detail and design principles, ear for musicality, and deep love for animation, ensure each project is imbued with thoughtfulness and grounded in strategy.
While pursuing my degree in graphic design, I studied printmaking, photography, film production, bookbinding, and art history with a focus on pre-Columbian art. These have provided me with an invaluable foundation and understanding of how things are made, what's possible in print, and how to bring that same sense of tactility to the digital realm. Outside of art, I love to write and to learn new languages; often incorporating phrases into my work and everyday communication.
On my downtime, you'll find me lost in a park somewhere, staring intently at linework in an art museum, or stuffing my face at the nearest French bakery. I do my best to take monthly art classes to learn new techniques and mediums while keeping my eyes sharp, and see as many concerts, stand-ups, and live performances as I can to help keep my heart light.
