Sometimes a brand will have very distinct guidelines for different aspects of their portfolios, making it difficult to find a right balance - but that's where a lot of the magic happens. This was the case in designing and art directing for AstraZeneca's DTC campaign ads and resources for their community of heart attack survivors at Survivors Have Heart. See the full 60second TV spot. This is me
My role as art director and graphic designer throughout phase 1 and 2 of this campaign started with translating the award winning, 3D animation TV spot into social media and web banner ads, websites, and print media. See the video here. We continued with an interim campaign, casting real people for a photoshoot while continuing to expand the brand's iconography, website, and design language. Working alongside an illustrator and copywriter, conceptual direction was given to illustrate the expansion of the brand in phase 2.
